Narito kung bakit dapat kang pumunta sa gorilya trekking ngayon

Kakaunti na lang ang mga gorilya sa bundok sa buong mundo

There are as few as 1000 mountain gorillas left in the whole world. These rare apes are found in two separate destinations – the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwestern Uganda and the Virunga Mountains that are spread in Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Since the mountain gorillas are few and are found in only three countries, gorilla trekking is a rare experience that you can only get in Africa. And of all these three countries, it’s only Uganda that gives you an opportunity to make a choice between two mountain gorilla trekking destinations.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the most popular gorilla trekking destination in Uganda, but Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is an equal rival. Amidst of misinformation of old trekking experiences assumed to be current, it is in such a time that clear and up to date information about gorilla trekking in Uganda is paramount.

It should be noted that regardless of the season of the year that you consider to go on a gorilya safari, you have close to 98 percent chances to spot the mountain gorillas in any of the two gorilla national parks on any given day. If you fail to see the gorillas on your reserved day, you are allowed to go on a gorilla trek, the next day at no extra charge.

Manatili sa mga gorilya nang mas mahabang oras

During your holiday in Uganda, you have the option to stay longer with the gorillas. This new experience that has been named the gorilla habituation experience is a unique primate experience that is only done in the south of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Before gorilla families are opened for gorilla trekking, they undergo a habituation a process that involves initiating the wild gorillas to get used to human presence. This exercise can take 2 years or more. The Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park welcomes travelers who would like to engage in this experience.

Gorilla habituation permits cost US$ 1500 for overseas travelers, US$ 1000 for foreign East African residents and US$200 for East African Community citizens.

May diskwentong permit

Currently, Uganda is running promotional prices for gorilla permits in Uganda. The gorilla permit has been discounted to as low as US$400 from the usual US$700 per permit for overseas travelers. You can take use of these discounted prices and book a gorilla safari to Uganda at incredibly lower prices. The discount is applicable to all bookings before 30th June 2021.

From 1st July 2021, the gorilla permits will go back to the usual fee of US$700 per permit.
